Research Use Notice

Every product sold by GVG Labs is a research material. This notice explains what that means, who may purchase, and what we expect of every purchaser. It forms part of our Terms of Sale and applies to every order.
Laboratory and research use only
GVG Labs products are supplied solely for in-vitro laboratory work and other legitimate, controlled research. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements or cosmetics, and they are not offered for any diagnostic, therapeutic or pharmaceutical purpose.
Not for human or veterinary use
Our products must not be consumed, injected, applied or otherwise administered to people or animals, and must not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition.
No medical or usage guidance
GVG Labs does not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, administration instructions, reconstitution instructions or treatment recommendations, and our support team cannot answer questions of that kind. Product descriptions and Certificates of Analysis identify and document a material; they are not instructions for its use.
Who may purchase
By placing an order, you represent that:
- you are at least 21 years of age;
- you are a qualified research professional, or are purchasing on behalf of a research organization or institution, with the training and facilities needed to handle these materials safely;
- you hold any license, permit or authorization that applicable law requires for the materials you order and the research you conduct; and
- you are acquiring the products only for legitimate laboratory or controlled research purposes.
At checkout you confirm that you are 21 or older and that you understand our products are for research purposes only. Both confirmations are required to place an order.
Your responsibilities
As the purchaser, you are responsible for:
- storing, handling, using and disposing of products lawfully and safely, in line with accepted laboratory practice;
- complying with all laws, regulations and institutional requirements that apply to you and your research;
- ensuring products are handled only by appropriately trained personnel and are kept away from unauthorized people; and
- not reselling, giving or transferring products to anyone for human, veterinary or other non-research use.
You are responsible for any improper, unauthorized or non-research handling or use of products you purchase.
Our right to refuse or cancel
GVG Labs may refuse or cancel any order, and may ask for information about the intended research, when we have reason to believe a purchase is not consistent with this notice or our Terms of Sale.
